How are guests added on check-in?

Guests can be easily added and checked in “on the fly”.  The information that is required for a guest is: child’s name, grade, either a mother or father, phone number and any medical concerns.  The system will accept anonymous phone numbers where all of the digits are the same (000-000-0000) if the parents prefer not to provide that information.  Additional information such as birth date and cell phone can be entered, but is optional.

Does the software run on the internet or the church network?

Our software runs locally on your computers; it does not run on the internet or transfer data across the internet.  Therefore you can control the security of the data via the security of the logins on each computer and the network.  Also, the Check-in Module does not allow the users access to most family information; just what they need to check students in and out.  There is a password for the Administrative Module so you can control access to the more-sensitive data.
